Thanks to the support of so many individuals, our Second Annual Julien Collot Foundation Dinner Dance at Russo's was a success!
We hosted about 360 people for 4 hours, we danced, we laughed, we were inspired by both Julien and his amazing team of doctors from Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, which included our Chief of BMT, Dr. O'Reilly, Dr. Boulad, Dr. Prockop, Dr. Kobos, just to mention a few.
Julien sang to the crowd and there was not a dry eye in the house! A speech was delivered by Dr. O'Reilly which promised continued dedication to the fight against pediatric cancer- the music and entertainment and photography were provided by "Music Flex" .
We had the unexpected pleasure of receiving a visit (and a check made payable to the Julien Collot Foundation) by the Bride and Groom who were married in the room next door!
The tricky trays, and silent auction were a hit and we were able to donate another $27,000.oo to the Bone Marrow Transplant Research Team, bringing our total thus far to $100,000.00
Thank you all for making this possible. WE WILL FIND A CURE. PLEASE GOD, IN OUR LIFETIME!
